Mallorca,
arranged around you
Someone local who knows your trip, has thought about the details, and is reachable while you are here.
Most of what makes a trip work
happens before it starts
People rarely need more activities. What they need is for the practical layer underneath the holiday to have been handled by someone who lives here, so that the fridge has water in it when you land at eleven at night with tired children, the car has the right seats, and the restaurant you were told was excellent is actually still excellent.
That is what this service is. Not a fixer with unlimited reach, and not a promise that anything you can imagine is possible. A local team that plans carefully, works with people it trusts, and stays contactable.
Before
you arrive
The part that does the most work and that guests never see.
- Personal itinerary planning a realistic shape for the week, built around who is travelling rather than a list of attractions
- Villa preparation the house opened, aired and checked before you get there
- Grocery shopping a first shop to your list, and water in the fridge
- Restaurant reservations booked in advance, which in July is the difference between eating well and not eating
- Transfers and car hire arranged with the right vehicle and the right child seats
- Experience booking boats, guides and studios secured while there is still availability
- Special requests flowers, a cake, a particular bottle, a piece of equipment you would rather not fly with
- Airport pickup met inside the terminal, not left looking for a name on a phone screen
- Arrival coordination keys, access, alarm codes and the things that are never where the booking said they would be
- Orientation the nearest pharmacy, the good bakery, which beach to use on a windy day
- A working phone number one contact who already knows your booking, given to you on arrival
On
arrival
The first two hours set the tone for the whole stay.
During
your stay
Plans change. Weather changes. Children change their minds.
- Daily recommendations where to go today given the wind, the crowds and what you did yesterday
- Experience arrangement adding, moving or cancelling as the week takes shape
- Boat and yacht days arranged around the forecast rather than the calendar
- Family assistance a babysitter through a trusted local agency, a paediatric pharmacy, an afternoon that works in the rain
- Shopping and art introductions to galleries and dealers, and help with purchase and shipping where we can
- Special occasions a birthday, an anniversary, a proposal, planned quietly and in advance
- Ongoing support a number that answers while you are on the island
The details that
actually matter
Families are the majority of what we do, and the requirements are specific enough to be worth setting out plainly.
Car seats that match the ages of the children rather than whatever the rental desk has left. A first grocery shop that includes the particular brand of milk a two year old will accept. Cots and high chairs confirmed in advance rather than promised. Restaurants that are genuinely relaxed about children at nine in the evening, which is most of them here, but not all.
And the things you hope not to need: the name of an English speaking paediatrician, the pharmacy that opens late, a plan for the day it rains in October.
None of this is remarkable. It is simply what somebody local would do for you if they had the time, and it is the difference between a holiday and a logistical exercise.
How requests actually work
Everything here is arranged subject to availability and through partners we work with. We are not going to tell you that anything is possible.
Some requests are straightforward and we handle them the same day. Some depend entirely on the time of year: a boat in the second week of August needs months of notice, not days. Some depend on a third party saying yes, and occasionally they say no.
When we can do something, we confirm it and tell you what it costs. When we cannot, we say so immediately and suggest the nearest thing that works. What we will not do is accept a request, go quiet, and leave you to discover the problem when you arrive.
