What cookies are
Small files a website leaves on your device. Some are needed for the site to work at all. Others measure how it is used, or let advertising services recognise you.
Your choice
When you first arrive you are asked to accept or reject cookies that are not strictly necessary. You can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings button on any page. Rejecting them does not stop you browsing, enquiring or booking.
Strictly necessary
These are always set, because without them the site does not function. They do not require consent.
- WordPress session and authentication — keep you signed in to your account and protect forms against forgery.
- WooCommerce (
woocommerce_cart_hash,woocommerce_items_in_cart,wp_woocommerce_session_*) — remember what is in your cart and carry your basket through checkout. - Cookie consent (
moove_gdpr_popup) — remembers the choice you made in the banner, so you are not asked again. - WooPayments / Stripe — used during payment to detect fraud and complete the transaction securely.
Analytics
Set only if you accept them. They tell us which pages are read and where people leave, so we can improve the site. We do not use them to identify you personally.
- Jetpack Stats — page views and referrers.
- Google — traffic measurement and, where enabled, product performance in Google Shopping.
Advertising and social
Set only if you accept them. These allow the services below to recognise a visit that came from their platform, and to measure whether it led to an enquiry or a booking.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
- TikTok
- Google Ads
These services set their own cookies under their own policies, and may combine what they see here with what they already know about you on their platforms.
Third-party content
Where a page embeds something from another service — a map, a video, a chat widget — that service may set cookies of its own when the content loads.
Managing cookies in your browser
Every browser lets you see the cookies a site has set and delete them, and lets you block cookies altogether. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop the cart and your account from working.
Changes
When we add or remove a service that sets cookies we update this page. The list above describes the services active on this site at the time of the last revision.
