The Lagoon 500 is a 16-metre sailing catamaran designed for those who want more than simply a day on a boat. Spacious, stable and exceptionally comfortable, it offers the feeling of having your own private home on the Mediterranean.
With capacity for up to 12 guests during the day, accommodation for 8 overnight guests and 4 cabins, the Lagoon 500 is particularly well suited to families, groups of friends and guests looking to spend several days exploring Mallorca and the Balearic Islands.
Whether anchored in a peaceful bay, sailing between islands or enjoying a long afternoon together on deck, there is space to experience the sea without feeling rushed.
Space to Live Outdoors
One of the defining characteristics of the Lagoon 500 is the amount of outdoor space available across different areas of the yacht.
At the stern, a large cockpit creates the perfect setting for open-air breakfasts, long Mediterranean lunches or relaxed dinners overlooking the water.
At the front, the spacious sun deck provides another area to lie back, enjoy the sunshine and take in the surroundings.
Above, the expansive flybridge becomes one of the yacht’s most distinctive spaces. Combining the helm station with seating and lounging areas, it provides panoramic views while sailing and creates an exceptional social space for spending time together.
Having several separate outdoor areas also means that larger groups can enjoy the yacht comfortably, whether everyone wants to gather together or find their own quiet corner.
Panoramic Interior
Step inside and the Lagoon 500 continues to feel remarkably open.
Its spacious saloon is surrounded by large windows, filling the interior with natural light and providing 360-degree views of the sea.
A large dining area, comfortable seating and a fully equipped galley create an inviting central space for relaxing, eating and spending time together, particularly during longer charters.
Four Cabins for Overnight Adventures
The Lagoon 500 offers four cabins and accommodation for up to eight overnight guests, making it an excellent option for multi-day and week-long charters around the Balearics.
The cabins are designed to provide a level of comfort closer to a hotel suite than a traditional compact sailing cabin, with private bathroom facilities, ventilation or air conditioning and views towards the sea.
Pillows and blankets are also provided on board.
Smooth & Stable Sailing
The twin-hull configuration of the Lagoon 500 provides one of the major advantages of a large catamaran: excellent stability.
Its wide platform and catamaran design help the yacht remain comfortable and level while underway, making life on board particularly enjoyable for groups and families.
The Lagoon 500 has been designed to perform both under sail and under power, offering a combination of comfortable cruising and genuine sailing capability.
Advanced navigation electronics and autopilot assist with longer journeys, while the yacht’s construction by CNB, part of Groupe Bénéteau, reflects an emphasis on durability, functionality and comfort.
